Today Kim, Mimi, Hayden and myself went to the FOX to see Mary Poppins. Kim gave the tickets to Mimi for Christmas, and it just so happened that May was the earliest show. It was so much fun and a nice treat to do something different. The best part is always watching Hayden as she expierences new things, she was so excited when we first got there, she didn't even want to leave our seats to go buy her a new T-shirt, and well everyone knows that she didn't just get a T-shirt...She got a Mary Poppins magic bag, magic umberella(that is what she calls them, and when we got home she wanted to know if she could fly outside) and a T-shirt that says Pratically Perfect (which she is Perfect). When we got back to our seats it was time for the show to begin and she was sitting in a booster seat but she still couldn't see over the person in front of her, so she sat in Mimi's lap so she could see everything. She really enjoyed the dancing and the singing, but when they were just talking she would get bored very fast. She kept trying to go to sleep and rolling around in Mimi's lap, so finally when in was intermission, we got her some popcorn, cherry flavored candy and a sprite and she enjoyed the second part of the show a lot more. The best part is when she would actually laugh out loud and have that amazed look on her little face, especially when the guy was walking upside down and when Mary Poppins was flying with the umberella...but you will never guess what her favorite part was...when one of the characters burped very loudly. Mimi says she is a lot like her Daddy, I would have to agree! My favorite part was at the end when Mary Poppins flew over the crowd and the only reason it was my favorite part was because of the look on Hayden's face, it was truly priceless!
