Theater Camp / Big boy bed

Hayden had theater camp all last week at school.  She really enjoyed it.  She was so excited every day when I picked her up.  Thursday, they did a performance for all of their family.  Hayden did a great job reading from scripts and she wasn't shy at all.  She was in two little plays, one was Snow White and the other was Home Sweet Home.  They really did a great job on props and acting.  Next week she has Math Camp, so she will be ready for 2nd grade.

Colton is officially in a big boy bed.  We bought him the Cars toddler bed and bedding to go with it on Saturday.  He is so excited about his bed.  He plays with his trucks and tractors on it.  He also got a stuffed car pillow that he absolutely loves.  He carries it around every where.  He is absolutely precious sleeping in his new bed.  Mark is really sad that this is the first time in over 7 years that we haven't had a crib up and ready for a newborn baby.  All of our babies are growing up so fast.

Last day at the beach

Our last day at the beach, it pretty much rained all day.  However, we took advantage of the breaks and went down to the beach to enjoy as much as we could.  Aunt Kim brought her kayaks with her so we were able to take Colton and the girls out on a boat.  Colton loves boats!  Aunt Kim and Hayden were in one and Mark, Gracie and Colton in the other one.  They weren't able to really go out to far because there were storms coming but all 3 kids enjoyed it.

We also we managed to get in a few family pictures, since I put them off until the last year.  I say every year I'm not going to do it that way, but somehow that is how it always works out.

Thank you Kim for taking all the amazing pictures this year!  I love all of them.

Thank you to every one for helping and playing with all of our babies, and most of all thank you Mimi and Pop for renting a wonderful place for us to all stay at and enjoy the beach!  We love all of you!

Day 6

Another beautiful day at St. George Island.  We played on the paddle board, floated in the ocean, played in the sand.  It was a great morning.  Then we went to the Owl Cafe to eat a yummy lunch in Apalachicola.  So since we were in Apalachicola we took Colton to see some big boats. He was so excited.  He got to watch them put one in the water,  his face was priceless.  Hayden and Gracie got some books from the book store while we were there.  Hayden read her book all the way back to our house.  Gracie got some  one on one time with Aunt Linda....they went for ice cream and she got a puppy that she hasn't put down yet.  It even slept with her last night.  Hayden loves her time with Aunt Kim, she has to do every thing Aunt Kim does.  It is a good thing Aunt Kim doesn't mind.  She follows her, has to ride in the same car as she does, goes to the beach in the mornings with her, and they even read books together when they go to bed.  We are so glad she has picked such an awesome person to be her role model.

Yesterday evening we went back down to the beach and there was a tidal pool and Colton really enjoyed playing in it and so did the girls too.  They ran back and forth for a long time.  Then Colton tried out his surfing skills on a boogie board.  I think he did a great job.  Gracie enjoyed just laying in the water.
