Tournament and Father's Day 2014

Well Walton All Stars are out of the tournament but they all played so well.  I am so proud of all of the girls but most of all mine.  Hayden Stancil #1 had some wonderful hits in all her games but the last couple  of games she rocked the ball over all the girls heads into the outfield.  In fact she almost had a grand slam but they stopped her at 3rd to be safe.  She has got to have more RBIs than anyone on the team.  Talk about making a Mommy nervous...she always comes up to bat with bases loaded and 2 outs!  However, she always gives it her all!  She plays her base very well and has the arm of a cannon.  I love watching her do what she does best.

Gracie has decided in the Spring she is going to try Softball too.  I guess Hayden better start giving her some tips!  Wouldn't it be great to have two little Softball players, although I don't quite know how to be in two places at once!

We celebrated Father's Day weekend at the ball field and the pool.  The kids were very excited to swim all day Sunday at Aunt Kim and Uncle Artie's house.  It was a fun day.  The kids made Mark and Pop a few cards and gifts.  The best part is that they all came straight from the heart.  You can't buy those kinds of gifts no matter how hard you try.  I love how they get excited about making stuff and can't wait for it to be opened.  We love you Daddy and Pop!  Although Father's Day was a hit I spent some time missing my Daddy and my Pop.  This is the first Father's Day that I couldn't call my Pop and tell him and take him a card just from me.  It was pretty sad but I know they are both better off where they are at.

Softball and Swimming

Tuesday night, Hayden had her first All Star game.  They won 13-10!  It was a nail biting game but they all showed every one why they were picked for All Stars.  Hayden had one out at 3rd base and tried to catch several foul balls at 3rd but the sun was in her eyes and the other coach wouldn't move fast enough to get out of the way.  Needless to say she will be wearing sunglasses on Fridays game.  She did hit an amazing double on the last inning and got 2 RBIs in and they called the game.  Aunt Kim recorded it for Mark and I love listening to the people in the background....Come on Hayden get them home...Woo hoo way to go Hayden!   I can't hear all of that when normally because I am in the dugout cheering her on myself.  Way to go Walton All Stars.  Hopefully they will win Friday night too!

Yesterday was the only day that we didn't have a game or practice so we met Aunt Kim, Uncle Artie and Mimi for lunch and then went to swim.  They all enjoyed it and now Colton is a water baby too. He didn't even use his water wings yesterday.  He still has a lot to learn but boy is he doing well.  They all had the best time and so did I.  I love swimming too!
