Colton's One Year Check Up!

Colton had his 1 year check up yesterday and he was a big healthy boy!   He was 23lbs 8oz and 31 inches.  Translates to 85th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight.  He is slimming down a little bit...heehee!  I had to fill out a form on motor skills when I got there, while doing this I found myself thinking what if he can't do any of this...what happens then? and getting worried.   I don't know why I was thinking any of that because the only thing that my genius can't do is....hold his foot up for me to put a sock or shoe on it...and he probably can't do this because the child hasn't worn socks or shoes EVER!.  I thought it was funny!  He could do everything else on the paper.  Another thing that was on there was a question like "can the child place two objects in a container one at a time and then take them back out?' and to answer the question was "yes" because he jerks Mimi's earrings out every chance he gets and then puts them one by one into anything he can find and then gets them back out!  I thought it was interesting because I watched him do this about 100 times in Mimi's office Tuesday!  He is so very smart!  Dr. Beeber was very impressed with all of his accomplishments and said that he is a very healthy little boy.  He had to have two shots, which he was a big boy but I think it was because he had the hots for the new younger nurse...heehee!  He really liked her, he wanted her to hold him every time she was in the room.  Mark's comment was "that a boy".    Unfortunately after she hurt him with the shots, he was done with her and wanted Mommy.

He is walking a lot now, still not all the time, but it won't be long at all.  It is so funny when he stands up in the middle of the floor, looks around and then just starts walking to what or who he wants.  Sometimes he takes 20 steps and sometimes it is only 4.

He is my Little Wild Man!  He climbs on anything and everything, you can't take your eyes off of him for a second.  He loves to climb in any rocking chair and then not only does he rock but he tries to stand up and pretty much jump out!  Wow...really...already!  He can get on all of his riding toys by himself and even move them forward(yay) and stand up on them(once again making Mommy nervous) and then he gets off and starts all over again.  He makes me tired just watching him.  He loves all of his tractors and he still loves his race car stuff too.  He really likes his couch that we got him for his birthday, it is a tradition...the girls both got one for their first birthday so he had to also.  He sits on it, rolls on it and of course CLIMBS on it!.  He uses it to climb onto other things...he is always thinking!  He loves to make all the silly noises with his mouth, especially the ones that means he gets to spit on his sisters.  He really loves it when Hayden chases him, his little laugh is music to my ears.  I sure do love you little man.

Colton First Time Swimming

Colton enjoyed swimming for the first time this past weekend.  He wasn't scared at all....he splashed, tried to swim underwater, and even walked in the pool.  Silly boy!  He had a whole lot of fun, but actually made me a little nervous as to how brave he really is.  He also got to swim with little Lucas, I think they enjoyed it even though Colton kept taking away all of his toys.  Gracie really enjoyed swimming with Lucas, she spent a lot of time playing with him..

Hayden stayed in the big pool, showing off all of her tricks.  She loves the pool, she reminds me so much of myself when I was little.

Colton's First Birthday Party

Colton's first birthday party was a success!  Mark had so much fun helping decorated, he even brought real signs, barrels, and cones from work to help me make the finishing touches.  He finally got to have a boy party!!!We bought lots and lots of balloons...orange, yellow and black and 2 #1 balloons.   We decorated the table, and put the cones around the high chair where he would enjoy his cake.  Every thing was perfect, really looked like we were under construction around here.  The cake was amazing in looks and taste.  The lady that does them does the most amazing work!  He wasn't really into opening his presents, which didn't surprise me at all, neither were the girls on their first birthdays.  He opened Aunt Kim and Uncle Artie's tractor and that was all he wanted, in fact he cried when we took it away from him for Daddy to open.  He loves his tractors!  He has played with all of his toys for the past two days, it has been so much fun watching him really play with all his new stuff and CLIMB on everything.  He got several riding toys, a swing, couch, tractors, dump trucks and little cars....what more could a boy ask for!

He wasn't to sure about his cake at first, but then he had the best time playing in it.  Not sure how much he actually ate, but he enjoyed throwing around the living room and trying to share it with Aunt Beth and everyone else.  It was fun watching him and him looking around like these people are really letting me play with my food!

He is growing up so fast, seems like in just the last couple of days he has changed from being a baby to a little boy.  He is walking a lot, but still falls a lot too, with that being said he took 20 steps around the kitchen yesterday.  He loves to talk, we have no idea what he is saying but he is just a talking.

Happy Birthday Little Man!  We love you so much!

Hayden's Kindergarten Graduation

Hayden has graduated from Kindergarten.  She looked like an angel walking down the aisle.  She twirled her hair all the way down the aisle, for those of you that don't know...that is what she does when she is nervous.   They all sang zippity do da and Aloha, then they were all called up one by one for their diploma or certificate or whatever they call it these days.   As Mrs. McDaniel called out Hayden Christine Stancil, I felt the tears coming and I just sat there watching her with the proudest feeling ever.  It is so hard to believe that my first baby is 6 years old and officially a 1st grader now!   Seems like just yesterday we were celebrating her 1st birthday.   Time flies when you are having fun.  I am totally amazed with Hayden, she is determined, beautiful, funny, kind hearted, and simply wonderful all the way around.   We are so proud of all of her accomplishments this year.  She has learned to read, do lots of math, count money, tell time, and I could go on and on for hours as to how smart this little girl is.  She loves school and loves learning new things.    Mrs. McDaniel told me the other day that Hayden has really opened up in the last couple of months and that she was the sweetest little girl she has ever met.  I love it when people tell us things like that.

Hayden we are so proud of you.  You just keep up the good work and you will go so far in life.  We love you to the moon and back, our little shining star.

Happy First Birthday Colton

Today is your first birthday!  My oh my how time does fly!  A year ago on this day, I knew you were ready to make your arrival.  I left your sisters with Nana and Steve and went for my regular doctors appointment where they confirmed that you were definitely ready to make your arrival.  They sent me straight to the hospital, so I called Daddy and told him he better hurry up, so he could meet his son!  At 10:45pm the most handsome, amazing little boy was born.   8lbs 15oz and 22in long.  You were truly the most handsome baby in the world!  When they laid you on my chest, it was love at first sight.  It was also love at first sight for your Daddy, he was so excited!  You knew my voice and was comforted by it.  The delivery was amazing, however even though you were perfect...Mommy had to have surgery afterwards, so I left you with your Daddy and I was back in a couple of hours and ready to have my Little Man all to myself.  It was like 3am but I didn't care all I wanted was to hold you and love on you and that is exactly what I did.  Your Daddy was so tired, we did let him sleep a little bit.  Everyone loved you so much and also thought that you were the most handsome baby ever.  Since it was so late when you were born and Mommy had to have surgery, your sisters waited until the next morning to come see you for the first time!

Mimi and Pop brought Hayden and Gracie, and when your sisters walked into that room and saw you in my arms, they were immediately in love with you too!  Hayden couldn't wait to hold you and Gracie only wanted to pet you like a little puppy!  It was one of the moments as a Mommy that I will never forget.  I will always cherish their faces as they met you!  We are officially a party of 5 and we love it!  You were such a good baby, the only time you cried was when you were hungry or needed a new diaper.  You loved to sleep on my chest, which I may have spoiled you a little bit but I loved every minute of my sweet loving from my little man!   You loved your swing and would stay in it for hours looking around and sleeping.  I had to watch your sisters so they wouldn't try to get you out though, especially Gracie.  You rolled over at 3 months, sat up at 7 months and took off crawling at 8 months and pulled up at 8 months too.  You have taken  up to 6 steps walking but still a little unsure about it.  It is only a matter of time before you figure it out and then you really will be into everything.  You have had so many accomplishments and so many more to come.  Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you.

You can say Mama, DaDa, Mo(more), mine, bye bye, hey, and you try to say Where is Colton...it sounds more like a song but I love it.  You love to play peek a boo and pat a cake.  Now you also clap for yourself when you do something good.  I would have to say that Mo is your all time favorite word and you say it non stop when anyone has food or drink around you.

You are always a happy boy and go with the flow, since your sisters are so busy you have to be in the car seat and stroller a lot, but you do good with it.  You make the funniest faces and love to show all your teeth and scrunch your nose up when you smile.  We call it your Peaches face and we will have to explain that to you later.  You are so ticklish and love to laugh at your big sisters, especially Hayden.  You also love to aggravate your big sisters, which will only get worse I have a feeling.  They try to shut you out and you stand at the door beating on it and crying out until they finally open it.  When you do not want something you have no problem expressing that and when you get in trouble you lay your head down and cry but then you look up to see what I am doing.  You have also learned how to have a tantrum and it makes you so mad when I ignore you while you pitch your fit.  You love to climb on every thing in the house, which scares Mommy a little but I am told that is what boys do.

Right now you are a Mommy's boy, I am sure that will change as you get older and more interested in the things your Daddy does, so I am taking advantage of it while I can.  You follow me all over the house wanting me to pick you up and you will only take a bottle from me.  You love to cuddle with me when you are tired and sing to yourself.

Oh how we love you little man.  You make our lives complete.  I can't wait to see your face at your 1st birthday party and to see what you think about presents, you will probably like the paper and boxes the best.

Happy First Birthday Colton.  We love you to the moon and back.  We are so excited to see all your next accomplishments in the next year!

Love,

Mommy, Daddy, Hayden and Gracie

First Allstar Practice

I love watching my little girl play softball.  She had her first Allstar practice last night and she did awesome, she really come out and played ball!  I think she surprised other parents and her coaches a little bit too!  I found myself watching her with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes because I was so proud of her.  I watched her amazed that she is my daughter and to how much determination she has!  I love her so much, words can't even describe how much or how proud she makes me!  She tried out for 3rd base, outfield, and shortstop and even the circle, otherwise known as the pitcher!   She did awesome in every position they put her in and she got hit in the neck by one of the balls, but never cried or acted like it even phased her.  She just smiled and told her coaches that she was okay!   She is so tough!!!!  There were several little girls that got hit last night, so I am pretty sure that they will all be wearing face mask this time!  We haven't got to know everyone on the team yet, so it is interesting to hear what other people are saying.  First I would like to say there were no negative comments made about any of the girls only LOTS of positive, which is the way it should be!  I heard several of the other parents talking about the arm that my little girl has, man she can throw that ball and she throws it fast too!  I also heard a few talking about how she gets after the ball instead of waiting on it to come to her, which her Daddy would have been proud to hear!  We have drilled it into her head to get after it!  As I said before she was awesome last night and she truly enjoyed it.  She couldn't wait to get home and tell her Daddy all about it.  The whole team is going to be great, I can't wait to watch these girls play ball!  Go Walton County Allstars!  Hayden we are so very proud of you and love you so much!

Gracie's Recital 2012

Words cannot describe how proud I am of my Gracie Leigh!  She did a fantastic job at her Recital on Sunday.  I was so nervous that she would be so shy and not do anything when she realized how many people were watching her, but as Hayden always did she proved me wrong and shined just like a shining star!  She was absolutely the most beautiful ballerina there and she was also the sweetest.   She did everything Ms. Kim told her to do and she had that million dollar smile on her face the whole time!  I kind of think she liked getting to be the star for the day, she has watched her sister be the star for a couple of years now and this was her day and her moment.  She loved all of her flowers from Mommy, Daddy, Mimi, Pop and Aunt Kim and Uncle Artie!  She took my breath away she was so beautiful.  For those of you that know me, my eyes were full of very proud tears as she danced across the stage!  We love you Gracie Leigh to the moon and back baby girl (pootie poo)!

These are some of the pictures that the photographer took!  They are amazing!  Just look at how beautiful she is!

Softball Party

Today was the Mudhens's Softball party.  They had food, cake, ice cream and a playground, which means they all enjoyed it very much.  All of Hayden's friends were amazed at how she does the monkey bars, even her coach commented on how she looks like she is just floating through the air!  She was very proud that she was the only one that could skip monkey bars and go all the way across.  Funny how important the monkey bars are!  They also got another trophy, and as they got their trophies their coach all commented on how good they did season.  When he got to Hayden, he told her that she was great at hitting and that by the end of the season she was after that ball and that he was proud of her.  Of course, she sat there twirling her ponytail, that is her nervous thing in case you didn't know and smiling.

After the party, we got some flowers for Gracie's recital tomorrow for her and Mrs. Kim.  I can't wait to watch her and hopefully she will show out and amaze us all.  As I told her this is her time to shine, she is always there cheering Hayden on and now it is her turn.

Then we went to Maeleigh's first birthday party.  It is hard to believe that her and Colton are already turning 1, but as they say time flies when you're having fun!  All my babies had a great time and as always Maeleigh was adorable!  She loved her presents and cake.  She was so excited about the baby doll that Hayden and Gracie picked out for her and I know that made them happy.  Every little girl needs a little mommy baby doll, they are the best, well that is according to my girls anyway.  I am excited about Colton's party next weekend and I can't wait to see what he thinks.

Championship

Well, the Mudhens didn't win the championship game, but we were 2nd place in Walton County and that is something to be proud of.  The Mudhens gave it their all at the last game and held in there pretty good the final score was 18-15!  The Mudhens have really came a long way this season, they were the youngest team in the County and were playing the championship against the oldest team in the County, so that says a lot.  They have all worked hard, especially Hayden...she is really dedicated to Softball and wants to play all the time.  I love that she enjoys it and that she always gives it her all.  She had some good hits tonight and she always helps her team out where ever they need her.  I really wanted them to win but just to make it to the championship was an accomplishment within itself.  Way to go Mudhens!   At the end of the game they lined both teams up on the first base line and the third base line to give them their championship trophies.  All the girls were surprised.  The coaches called them up one by one and handed them their big trophy.  Their faces said it all, very proud of themselves.  Hayden admired her trophy all the way home tonight and brought it in and put it exactly where she wanted it to be.  Oh and she is taking it for show and tell on Tuesday!   We are very proud of you Hayden and can't wait to watch you play for your Allstar team started Monday!!!!!

Bye Ms. Monica and Ms. Brooke

Gracie's last day of school was a little sad me and the teachers.  When I picked her up both of her teachers hugged and kissed her and then they both started crying.  Which in turn made me cry too, I am always emotional so I knew I would.  It is amazing how close she has gotten with her teachers and how much they have done for her this year.  It was a great year for all of us and I can't wait to see what she thinks about her teachers next year.  She will have the same teachers that Hayden had for her 3 year old Preschool class and they are also amazing.  First Baptist Preschool is the best one around, they are all wonderful teachers!   It is so nice to hear that we have an amazing, wonderful little girl....I already knew that but it is always wonderful to hear!

I have ordered Colton's birthday invitations and I must say I think I did a great job!  Can't wait to see what everyone else thinks.  They are a little late going out but I wanted to make sure I had his picture on them, since that is how I did Hayden and Gracie's first birthday.  After all fair is fair.Right?  I try to always keep everything even, although it is getting harder and harder to keep up with these days with our hectic schedules.  After Hayden's championship game tonight, I am going to focus on birthday supplies.  I already know what I need and want, just a matter of getting to Athens to buy it all!  I can't believe my Little Man is going to be 1, as I say all the time....my oh my where does the time go?  He is all boy and into EVERYTHING in sight.  I love that he is always my happy little man, well except when he is a hungry little man.  His favorite word is More, however it sounds more like "mo" but if he sees you with food or drink he says "mo" over and over and over and over again!  It is so cute!  Time to get ready to PARTY!

Another Win!

Well our little Mudhens won again last night, which means that we go to play for the championship on Thursday at 6pm in Loganville.  We will play against the Bees, aka the best team, but I think our little Mudhens are going to show out and win or at least I sure hope so.  They are all so excited, but I am pretty sure us parents are more excited than they are.   What a game, what a game....Hayden was after the ball, which is what Mark has been practicing with her and she had some good hits too.  It was such a good game, we only won by 1 run, we were all on the edge of our seats hoping.  Hayden also got a call from her Allstar Coach last night so it is completely official she is an ALLSTAR and we are so excited.  She is really into Softball, all she wants to do in her spare time is practice hitting and catching.  I have been racing her in the yard to get her to see how fast she has to run the bases.  Some may say we are really into this but Mark and I have a lot of fun playing too, except Mommy isn't very good at first base!   Can't wait to see the game on Thursday!  GO MUDHENS!!!!!

End of the Year Party Gracie

Gracie's end of the year party was today even though her last day of school is tomorrow.  It was very cute, they got sand buckets, float, side walk chalk, and a board to write on, which Hayden has already declared that she needs one too!  Guess I will ask Gracie's teachers where they got it from.  Don't want to listen to fight over it all Summer.  Gracie had fun playing with all of her friends and she was so sweet when she gave her teachers their gifts.  I can't believe that she has completed her first year of Preschool,  she is getting so big.  I am so proud of her and everything she has learned this year.  She has really opened up since that first day of school when she screamed as I walked away.  I felt horrible that day and cried all the way back home, but now she leaves Pooh in the car, wears her own book bag and carries her lunch box and never looks back as she crosses through the door to her classroom.  Wow, what a difference 8 months makes!  We love you Gracie Leigh and as we always tell Hayden you are also our shining star baby!  You always remember that you are good at everything and you can be anything you want to be as long as you work hard and want it bad enough.  We love you to the moon and back baby girl!

Gracie also has her recital Sunday at 2pm at the Methodist church.  I can't wait to see if she performs or if she gets to shy.  I am hoping that she shows out because she knows all the moves and she enjoys ballet so much.  I am so nervous for her though!  She will love it when she gets her flowers from her Daddy at the end, can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Mother's Day 2012

We celebrated Mother's Day with Mimi and Grandmama Saturday night.  We fried shrimp, onion rings, hush puppies and french fires.  It was all so yummy!  It was a little messy of a day but it turned out to be perfect because it wasn't so dang hot!  Mimi loved her gifts...the kids painted her a flower pot with their hand prints and Colton's foot print, being that he kept closing his hand before we could get paint on it.  Then the girls finished decorating it the way they wanted it.  They made a mess, but it turned out great.

We took Nana her Mother's Day gift on Friday, some beautiful flowers that Hayden and Gracie picked out and some updated pictures of all the babies!  Nana was very surprised and excited.  We didn't take them until later on Friday so Gracie and Colton had fallen asleep in the car, but Hayden got to give her some kisses and hugs.

Since I wasn't feeling well and it rained all day yesterday, I celebrated my Mother's Day by not leaving my house at all!  Mark and the girls went to buy me a present and Little Man took a nap the whole time they were gone.  So I did what I always do...clean!  I know, but it makes me feel good when everything is in its place and put up.  So after I cleaned up the nice mess of a house they left me with, I watched Dirty Dancing, one of my all time favorite movies!  I remember I was in the 3rd grade when it came out!   When Mark and the girls got back home they had Krispy Kreme donuts, a new shirt and a new pair of flip flops.  They did so good, I loved it all!  Hayden also had me a book about Mommy's and she read the whole thing to me.   She was so proud of herself and I was pretty proud of her too.  Evidently Mimi had been practicing with her for a couple of weeks.  Thank you Mimi for thinking of me and making a very special memory.  They also let me choose what we were having for dinner and that was Spaghetti, and it was delicious.  Mark dislikes Spaghetti very much but he ate it anyways since it was Mother's Day.  After dinner all 3 of my loves crawled up in my lap to watch America's funniest videos.

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mommy's out there!  I know I sure feel loved!

Here are some updated pictures also:

Woo Hoo Go Mudhens!

Hayden had a tournament game yesterday morning at 10am, they played so good and just when we thought they were going to loose and be done for the day, the Mudhens scored one more run and WON the game 13-12!  I was so nervous for them, working in the dug out, I get to see how excited they get when they realize they might win.  One of the girls on their team even made a triple play, yeah that's right 5 and 6 year old soft ball is exciting stuff.  Hayden got some really good hits and she played 3rd base, but we had to keep reminding her to get after the ball, not to just wait on it to come to her.  She did a fantastic job and words can't describe how proud we are of her.  Since they won the first tournament game they had to play another tournament game at 1pm.  So we went with Mimi and Pop and got some lunch to fuel up our little Allstar and headed back to the ball field.  Never thought I would be so excited to be at the ball field but I am, it is so much fun watching all the girls get out there and play, especially my girl!
We got back at 1pm and the Mudhens were ready to play this time too.  They played the 2nd game even better than the first game.  They all got big hits, especially Hayden...I have to brag!  Even her coach couldn't believe how she was knocking that ball, it was the good hits when you hear it ding off the bat!    She played between 2nd and 3rd this game and she really got after the ball this time.  She made a good throw to first to almost get an out! They all did great in the field by getting 3 outs as fast as they could!  Lets just say that they won't let you score more than 21 runs and the final score was 21-10!  When they scored that last run, we all ran out on the field to give high fives and hugs!  They were so excited!  GO MUDHENS!  Now we play our 3rd game Tuesday night at 6pm!  Who knows the Mudhens may go on to win the championship!

Mother's Day Spa at GWA

I had the best Mother's Day from my sweet Hayden at GWA today.  It was a Spa, who doesn't like that?  When I got there all the other Mother's were standing outside waiting.  When Mrs. McDaniel opened the door, they had candles burning with no lights on, and it smelled just like a spa and a table with food.  Mrs. McDaniel said "Hayden your 1:30 appointment is here" and Hayden came over took my hand and showed me where to sit, and then she stood behind me.  There was very relaxing music playing and once all the Mother's were seated, they all started to massage our backs.  Hayden did a fantastic job, she is very gentle which would explain why she was chosen to receive the 'Gentleness Specialists' award!  After my back massage I was served a plate with strawberry shortcake, cheese straws and grapes, it was all very good...made it even better that my baby gave it to me.  Then it was time for the foot massage, that was wonderful maybe I can convince her to do it every night!  Then it was time to change seats for the hand massage and again she did a great job.  After all of this I was just ready for a nap...but it was time for the song that the class had prepared.  It was the cutest thing ever, I am not sure the name of it but it is something to the effect of 'your beautiful'.  Oh and she stood in front of all the other Mommy's and classmates and told them why she loved me so much....She said "I love my Mommy so much because she cooks me strawberry pies" and yes at this point I was crying.  I have never felt so proud and loved!  Also every other Mommy was teared up or crying too!  It was one of the most precious moments ever, I love her so much and she always makes me so proud no matter what.  She is still very shy but she stood up there just for me and that by itself was precious!  Then after all of this, I got a homemade scrub and a piece of pottery that she made.  Wow! That was the best Mother's Day gift I could ever get!  Thank you Hayden for loving me and making me feel so special!  I love you sweet girl to the moon and back as always you are my shining star!

Here is my angel in her cap and gown!  She really does look like an angel!  I can't believe it she is just growing up way too fast!  My shining star and angel.  I don't think she will ever know how much I love her and how proud I am of her and Daddy too!  She amazes us every day!

Allstar!

Well Hayden made Allstars!  She doesn't know yet, because she still has two regular games left.  She will find out after the game on Saturday!  To say that Mark is excited would be a huge understatement! and me too for that matter.  We are so proud of our wonderful little girl that is getting pretty growny everyday!  The way she helps take care of Colton is amazing, she acts just like me.  She is his second little Mommy and he loves her to pieces.  He now crawls to her and wants her to pick him up and play with him.  He is still a little scared of Gracie, basically she doesn't realize she is hurting him sometimes, I mean she is only 3 after all.  They all 3 love each other so much it makes my heart melt with love!

In the past when planning birthday parties, Mark has always told me to do whatever I want being that he isn't really into pink and princesses...however with Little Man's birthday coming up he is getting more involved.  He picked out a front end loader tractor to give him for his present, yes I had to ask what kind of tractor it was before putting it on here because I don't know a thing about boy stuff and tractors.  His party is going to be Saturday May 26th 1-3pm.   His invitations will be arriving soon, I had pictures done and we have to wait to get them.  Sorry that they will be a little later but we are some really busy people!   The invitation will look something like this!!!  What a handsome little man I have!  I love him so much!

Field Day 2012

Well it hasn't rained in what about 3 weeks or so and of course on Field Day it rained.  One would think that it would have been ruined but not at GWA, because they have lots of water activities so it didn't matter at all to the kids.  The wetter the better! Thanks to Mimi for bringing me an umbrella, I wasn't prepared for rain at all!  Unfortunately Colton, Gracie and myself had to stand under shelter for about half of field day because it was very cold once they got wet. It still didn't matter to Hayden, in fact I almost think she enjoyed field day even better since it was raining!  My little water bug!   She had so much fun at the end when the fire trucks released all the water all over the football field!  She was freezing once she was finished though, she was still shivering with blue lips as we ate our chick-fil-a lunch!

After field day we had Colton's 1 year pictures.  It is crazy that he is going to be a year old this month, time sure does zoom by!  He is definitely not a fan of chocolate cake or maybe it was the fact that this cake was extrememly chocolatey He made a awful face and wanted it off of his hands immediately.  Silly boy, it was also way past his nap time and he wasn't his little ham of a self at all.  That is okay after 3 kids I know that sometimes you have great photo days and sometimes not so much.  Although, he spent a lot of time crying Ms. Mylinda is sure that she got some great shots for his birthday invitations and his pictures.  He is all boy and a little mess!  His birthday theme is tractors and mud.  I am so excited about planning a messy party!  I have lots of thoughts and ideas!  He is almost walking, he took 4 steps to his Daddy on Friday...it is only a matter of time!

Saturday, we had Hayden's game and even though they didn't win, they all played well.  Hayden always hits good and pays attention.   She goes for her Allstar tryouts on Monday...wish her luck!   After the game we got all ready for Aunt Kim's birthday party.  My kids love to help me plan and deocrate for parties.  With the help of pinterest I am really coming up with some great ideas.  Hayden and Gracie were so excited because they got to help pick out all the decorations!  I am pretty sure that Kim loved her party, food and presents...we sure are glad because we love her very much!

Exciting News

Well last night Hayden's coach asked Mark and I to stay after the game so he could talk to us.  First thing that went through my mind was uh oh what did we do wrong.  Just kidding, I knew we didn't do anything but we do have a parent that is consistently saying and acting wrong.  He wanted to tell us that Hayden is up for Allstars, not sure what this entitles but we couldn't be more proud of her.  She goes next Monday to find out what Allstars is all about!

Sometimes my kids say the silliest things and then other times they say the sweetest things in the world.  This morning while pulling up to the school...Hayden says "Mommy I know who is in your heart" and  I asked her "who" and she says "Jesus and your Daddy"  how sweet is that?  Gracie is really coming into her personality and is always making me smile these days.  She asked me yesterday "Mommy, you know why I love you" so I asked her "why" and she said "because you buy me stuff"  silly and sweet!   All Colton says is "More and Mama" every time he sees a drink or food!

Gracie's Water Day

Colton and I went to Preschool to have water day today!  Colton liked getting squirted with all the water and he really likes Mrs. Monica, he kept wanting her to hold him.  Gracie was the only child in the class that didn't get wet, not sure what happened there.  She kind of played by herself a good bit, but then I would look up and she would be chasing her friends.  Mrs. Monica is right though, she removes herself from situations when she thinks she is going to get in trouble, very smart girl.  For instance when all of the other little girls painted their hands and legs instead of the boxes they were supposed to be painting, she got up and left to do something else.  She followed all the rules and listened to every thing Mrs. Monica and Mrs. Brooke said.  Makes me a proud Mommy!  I was the only Mommy that was able to come back this morning, which made for one proud little girl.  I am so glad that I get to be there and do all these things with my babies.

On another note, I opened Hayden's book bag yesterday and found her Kindergarten graduation invitation in it.  It says Class of 2024 and I just started crying.  Is it possible that she is going to be in the 1st grade next year?  Yes it is and it is going to be here before I know it!  I have so many happy tears because I am so very proud of her and some sad ones because my first baby is growing up way too fast. Just know that I will be sobbing at the graduation because I will be the proudest Mommy there!!!!

Oh and one more thing Little Man is not far from walking.  He has taken two steps with Mark and I but still not sure of just taking off yet.  It won't be long so watch out everybody!  I am so proud of him too.  All three of my babies are wonderful and amazing.  Mommy and Daddy love you all so very much!
