T Ball

Hayden is officially signed up for T Ball for the Spring.  I hope she likes it because I think it is very important to her Daddy!  I personally think she is going to be great at it, just like she is everything else.  Who knew when she started Soccer last Fall she would end up being one of the best players on the team at the end!!  What can we say...She is perfect!  She starts practice on February 21st and her games start in March and I believe the first game is on a Saturday, which will be good for Daddy!  I am hoping that she will have lots of Saturday games so he can be there.

Oh and Gracie is starting Preschool in the Fall.  I have to sign her up the second week of February!  It is hard to believe that she is starting school!  She is excited about it.  I think she is really going to enjoy it!  Boy my girls are growing up so fast and trying all kinds of new things!!!

It's A BOY

We had our ultrasound today and found out that Baby Stancil is a Baby BOY!  I wasn't too surprised, even though I have been saying it is a girl...I have been calling him a HE for about three weeks now.  Mark and I were both very excited.  His name will be Colton...haven't decided on a middle name yet but that is his first name.  Colton measured at 21 weeks today instead of 20 weeks but my doctor said that they only change the due date if there is a 14 day difference, so we are still sticking to the 20 weeks and 2 days today!   Colton also weighed 15oz and wasn't bashful at all to show us his stuff!  Now for the room decorating and planning.  Gracie really didn't say a whole lot, I don't think she really understands what is going on and Hayden was absolutely sure it was a girl, so she hasn't really reacted yet.  She just looked as us when we told her it was a baby boy and then she said "I don't think he is going to like his room because it is pink".

Snow, Snow and More Snow

Well Hayden and Gracie got their wish, it really snowed this time!  It has been here for 3 days and there is still not much melting.  Oh and to make it even better Daddy has been at home too!  Tomorrow is day 4 and I just got the call that GWA is cancelled again tomorrow and Daddy got another snow day too!  So it looks like we will be having more fun tomorrow.  We have had tons of fun sledding at home and at Cy and Nichole's house.   Unfortunately I haven't been able to sled, but that just meant I got to do videos and pictures.Right?  Mark has had a lot of fun, he looks and acts like a kid right along with the girls.  Hayden was a little scared to go to fast but once she did it one time it was on.  Gracie is a little daredevil, she loved it no matter what.  Today it is a little more icy than it was the past two days and yes Mommy almost fell right on her hiney getting out of the car!!!  Gracie has fallen a lot today but laughs every time, it is so funny because she has a hard time getting back up because of all the clothes I have on her.  Hayden runs around trying to fall down and skate, what can I say she is having lots of fun...This is the first year she has really enjoyed it!  Okay I will stop telling you about it and show some of the pictures now.  I am going to try to upload the videos, but sometimes that doesn't work out so great!

Lets do it again Daddy

This one is blurry, but it is Mommy sending them down the hill but they go so fast that Daddy has to stop them from going all the way down the driveway

He had to try it too

Look at how excited Gracie is

This is to show how big the hill was

Gracie took a minute to wave and even though you can't see Hayden's face she has huge smile on her face

Look at those smiles

Back home warming up in front of Daddy's fire...Too bad Gracie doesn't smile like this when we go to have professional pictures done.

Happy New Year 2011

We spent New Years Eve sitting in the living room by the fire putting puzzles together and honestly it was perfect and fine with me.  I wasn't into going to a party this year, being pregnant makes me want to go to bed very early.  The girls were fast asleep by 9pm and Mark and I were both fast asleep by 10pm.  Maybe next year we can stay up till midnight!  Needless to say we were up early New Years Day and even though it rained all day we did get out to go eat lunch at Longhorns and then came home to cook those yummy collards and black eyed peas...Oh and some ribs!  We didn't have the most exciting weekend, but it was just the way I like it..with my perfect family!!!!
