Games / Field Trip to Charlie Elliot

Gracie had a game Monday night.  She did great again.  She seems to really enjoy playing T Ball.  She had two good hits.  She is the cutest thing ever running around those bases.  Good Job Gracie.

Hayden had a game Tuesday.  She hit a homerun the first time she went up to hit.  She was all smiles running those bases.  I was that Mommy out on the field jumping up and down waiting for her.  She got high fives, hugs and even a kiss.  She had two more awesome hits and she made several outs!  The Ducks won 15-9.  Good Job Hayden.

Hayden had a field trip to Charlie Elliot yesterday.  Mommy isn't really big on the whole fishing thing but I had to go because Daddy has to work.  We got there and Hayden's class got to fish first.  All of her classmates were catching fish except her.  Being that she is a LITTLE bit competitive, she started getting frustrated and telling me it was my fault.  She kept letting the fish take her hotdogs.  Yes, they fished with hotdogs and I was relieved because if it had been crickets or worms, this Mommy would have been out of there...just kidding but I was relieved!  So I got eye to eye with her and very calmly told her that she better calm down and watch how she talks to me.  She did much better after the pep talk.  Come to find out her bobber thingy was messed up,  I would have never known that.  So the guide fixed her up and we moved to a different spot.  Next thing I know she is saying  " I can't pull this fish in"  and I told her yes you can!!!!  I ended up helping her out just a little bit and while we were checking out the fish, the guide comes over and says that she just caught the biggest fish out there and wanted to know if he could take a picture of her with the fish.  Of course, I said yes!  So see, little miss competitive won again.   After fishing we went on a hike and then they got to play in some mud.  They had a great field trip but they really only wanted to fish!!!

Great Games

Hayden had another great game yesterday.  We practice hitting and throwing every day in the yard.  For those of you that don't know she is better than me at both!  She had 3 great hits and she got several outs at first base and also a few at 3rd base.  She made some awesome throws.  I even heard a few people in the stands talking about her arm.  The Cannon was on fire yesterday!  She really makes us so proud and she really loves playing softball.  The Ducks won 13-6!  Go Hayden!  Aim high and reach for those stars.  We love you!

Gracie had a game too and she made some really big hits too.  She was all smiles while running the bases.  I had to coach 1st base for her team and she really liked that.  She is so excited when I am involved with her team.  She also ran after the ball in the field, even though the boys beat her too, she tried and that is all that matters.  Great Job Gracie.  We love you!

Colton has to sit back and watch lots of ball.  So Mimi bought him a T Ball set too.  He plays inside and outside.  While Hayden and I were practicing hitting, he got his little bat and wanted me to pitch to him too.  So I did and he hit it.  He was so proud.  He may just be able to skip T Ball.

We are so very proud of all our babies!

The Perfect Spot

Recently when riding our golf cart around our yard, I realized that we have the perfect place for pictures.  So since the weather was so nice Sunday, I dressed my babies up and tried to get some good pictures.  I think I did pretty well.

Family Cookout for Daddy's Birthday

Saturday we celebrated Mark's birthday.  He wanted a low country boil, so that is what we did.  It was so much fun and the food was good and fun to play with.  We had craw fish and the kids pretty much spent the afternoon trying to catch them.  The other thing was to not get pinched! Gracie was very brave this time, I have to say I was extremely proud of her.  Hayden has always caught them.  Colton wasn't to sure, he would hold it for a second and then throw it...on the ground, at someone or back in the cooler.  He is a MESS!  Aunt Kim and Uncle Artie were the favorites!  They were jumping on the trampoline with all the kids....Hayden, Colton, Gracie and Maeleigh.  They all had a blast, especially Colton!  He was laughing and trying his best to keep up!  Gracie and Maeleigh are becoming really close friends.  They are so cute together.  I am pretty sure that everyone had a great time.  Happy Birthday Daddy!  We love you!

Game Ranch 2013

Mimi, Aunt Linda and myself took the kids to the Game Ranch yesterday.  The girls are pros at the Game Ranch, they have been lots of times.  This was Colton's first time and he really enjoyed himself.  He decided that he would eat the crackers that we brought for the animals himself.  Silly boy!  He loved the goats and sheep because he could really feed them.  The girls really enjoyed feeding the goats and sheep too.  They loved the carrots and celery.  The Game Ranch had all of the deer behind the fences which was kind of disappointing but they still got to feed them a few apples.  I think every one had a great time and it was fun watching Colt Man's facial expressions.  I got some pretty awesome pictures too!  Thanks Mimi and Aunt Linda, we love you and had lots of fun!
