Snow 2014

It finally snowed!!!  To say that the kids were excited would be a major understatement.  They were squealing and yelling and all sorts of other things.  We went out several times yesterday while Mark was work.  We built a miniature snowman and Colton said that it was only his snowman.  However, he eventually knocked the head right off of my sweet snowman.  It continued to snow until late last night so when they got up this morning it was like Christmas.  They couldn't wait to get out there on the sleds.  Keep in mind they got these sleds as a Christmas present a couple of years ago from Aunt Kim and Uncle Artie and it hasn't snowed since.  They were ready to go!  Colton even had a sled that Mimi and Pop bought him too!  They were so excited and Colton was not scared at all.  They squealed and hollered and basically had the best time ever.  Colton was all smiles, even when he fell off.  Hayden fell off a couple of times too.  With that being said Gracie managed to stay on until the very end and then fell off.  The difference was that when Gracie fell off...the game was over.  She was done and ready to get warm.  Colton was crying because his hands were so cold even with gloves on.  Hayden was still ready to go, but she had to come in and get warm too.  I won't lie,  Mommy was freezing.

We warmed up and went back out again.  This time Colton was a little tired and when his hands got to cold he was done.  Gracie and Hayden had so much fun.  I have never heard them laugh so much.

We warmed up again and went out for the final time of the day.  They were all smiles.  This time Hayden and Colton flipped over together.....backwards....Hayden never let go of him though...Mommy thought there would be tears....but there were only lots of laughs.  Colton wanted to do it again.  Hayden decided that one time was enough.  I agreed with Hayden!

We came in to get warm.  They have on their warmest, fuzziest pajamas and are right now playing the game Sorry with their Daddy so that I can update the blog.  I hope one day they appreciate how much I put into this for them.  I know that I would love to read about when I was little.  There are so many things we forget about and this way they will know everything.

I love them to the moon and back and infinity.
