Gymnastics and Report Card

Well, we finished another session of Gymnastics.  Gracie is still going to continue to do gymnastics in the current class she is in.  She didn't move up yet, but we also had a lot of days off due to holidays.  Hayden didn't get moved up either, so she decided that she doesn't want to do it anymore.  She was so upset.  I comforted her, but she decided that she just wants to do softball....and that is fine with us.   That is what she truly enjoys and she is very good at it.  The class she is currently in is just mostly exercising and learning how to do your legs and arms.  She really just wants to do cartwheels!!!  Oh, well if she decides she wants to try it again after softball season she can.  Gracie decided that softball wasn't her thing and that is fine too.  I just want them both to do what they enjoy.

We are still getting back on routine after being off for a couple of weeks.  The girls are both glad to be back at school, well except for the having to get up early part.

Hayden got her report card this week and it was straight A's and all S's.  I didn't expect anything different.  I love how much she loves school and her teacher.  The homework is starting to increase now to get her ready for 3rd grade.  Wait, 3rd grade, how is that even possible?  She is getting way to big.  I am not ready for her to grow up yet!  She is currently counting down the days until her 8th birthday!  Oh my, where does the time go?  She has her parties, yes parties all planned out.  She is having Barry Kate and Kierstin spend the night with her the weekend after her birthday.  That Friday night we are going skating and coming back home to have a big slumber party!  Colton and Gracie are spending the night with Mimi.  Hope you are ready for Colton, Mimi!!!  Hayden is so excited that they are going to be gone, sounds mean but she never has the house to herself.  That Saturday night we are having our family party, she wanted spaghetti, but since her daddy despises spaghetti we are having crab legs.  I am going to fix spaghetti on her actual birthday.  She is a spoiled little girl, I must give her what she wants!  Then on Sunday we are going to the circus.  What a birthday for a little girl.

Gracie was devastated that Colton is going to spend the night with Mimi and Pop too.  She got so upset.  However, I have smoothed things over and I think she is okay now.  I haven't seen her progress report yet, it comes Friday.  I am sure it is good though.  She is the sweetest little girl in the class.  She comes straight home from school to play school.  Mark says that is the silliest thing in the world, but she loves it.  She really, really, really loves to cut paper into a million pieces.  She is starting to get more outspoken, which catches me off guard at times.  For example she told me that I looked pregnant in front of many people at the store the other day.  Yes, me!  She really hurt my feelings!!!  She is growing up on me even though I keep telling her she is my baby girl.

Colton is just well Colton.  What can I say?  That little boy keep me on my toes at all times.  I love him to pieces.  He just melts my heart with that sweet smile and facial expressions.  Well, sometimes the facial  expressions aren't very nice.  He loves his train table until it comes apart and then he is just mad.  He loves all his trucks and new toys.  However, the thing he enjoys most right now is taking a bath.  I think he is ready for Summer.  He will stay in there for hours if I let him!  He plays with his boats and toys and makes all sorts of sounds that only little boys know how to make.  He is really talking now and expressing his feelings.  His favorite thing to say is "No I not" and he says it a thousand times a day.

I get so busy and forget to post things on some days.  It is always interesting at our house and always entertaining.  I am so proud of all three of my loves.  They each have their own personality and I love every one of them.  They make me laugh, they make me frustrated, but most of all they make my life.  They are my world!  They all know to aim high and reach for the stars.  They also know that they can do anything if they really want it.  They all know that I love them to the moon and back and infinity.

You can see the personalities in these pictures too!
