Well, the Mudhens didn't win the championship game, but we were 2nd place in Walton County and that is something to be proud of. The Mudhens gave it their all at the last game and held in there pretty good the final score was 18-15! The Mudhens have really came a long way this season, they were the youngest team in the County and were playing the championship against the oldest team in the County, so that says a lot. They have all worked hard, especially Hayden...she is really dedicated to Softball and wants to play all the time. I love that she enjoys it and that she always gives it her all. She had some good hits tonight and she always helps her team out where ever they need her. I really wanted them to win but just to make it to the championship was an accomplishment within itself. Way to go Mudhens! At the end of the game they lined both teams up on the first base line and the third base line to give them their championship trophies. All the girls were surprised. The coaches called them up one by one and handed them their big trophy. Their faces said it all, very proud of themselves. Hayden admired her trophy all the way home tonight and brought it in and put it exactly where she wanted it to be. Oh and she is taking it for show and tell on Tuesday! We are very proud of you Hayden and can't wait to watch you play for your Allstar team started Monday!!!!!
Great job, Hayden! That's a huge trophy! And I love the family photo. I know you all are so proud of her.
