Oh my goodness, the Tooth Fairy came to our house last night. That's right, Hayden lost her first little, perfect baby tooth and now she is getting her grown up teeth (that is what she calls them). I knew it was coming, she worried about that tooth all day Sunday and kept asking Mark and myself it is was ready to pull. We told her that it had to be so loose that she could almost push it out with her tongue and so she went to work wiggling that tooth. She wiggled it all day Sunday and all day at school Monday. I knew when I went to pick her up yesterday and she was grinning that proud grin that she had pulled it at school and sure enough she got in and opened her mouth and her sweet baby tooth was gone! Mrs. Baxter said she finally got it out right before carpool started and the whole class was so excited for her. She couldn't wait to put it in her new tooth fairy pillow and get her money. Which by the way the tooth fairy is a little more generous today than when I was little!!! She even had to brush the tooth and clean it up good before putting in the pillow, silly girl. She slept on that little pillow all night in hopes of meeting the tooth fairy and at one point she almost did, the tooth fairy had to be slick but she was a success! This morning she was very pleased to find that she had 2 one dollar bills in her pillow! Yeah, $2 but it was so worth it. I can't believe that she has lost her first tooth, wow where does the time go?
Congratulations Hayden you are know a big girl!
