Colton's 3rd Birthday Party

Well, it is official my baby is now 3 years old.  It is hard to believe but he keeps me on my toes at all times.  He is my determined, persistent, loving, happy, silly, independent, and handsome boy.  I love my little man!  He is definitely a Mommy's boy, which makes me a happy Mommy.  He will come and tell me he needs to sit in my lap and he always gives me the biggest kisses and hugs.  I love him to the moon and back and infinity.  Boys are way different that girl, that is the one thing I have figured out.  They are just wired completely different.

I love that he makes us laugh all the time.  I love that he will shake his booty and dance in front of anyone.  I love that he has to take a bath at least twice a day.  I love that he makes truck and train noises while playing with his toys.  I love that he builds and makes roads and houses with sand and blocks.  I love that he is always a happy boy and ready to go.  I love that he counts to three for every thing he does.  I love that he is ALL boy! I love this boy!!!!!!

He wanted a Jake party and that is what he had.  He was most excited about his cake that Mimi and Pop got him.  He has thoroughly enjoyed every piece of it.  We had a jumpy house, slip and slide and pool for his party.  He really enjoyed himself and I think every one else did too.  He had a big day on his 3rd birthday.  He loves all of his presents and has played with each and every one of them.

WE love you Colt Man!

Pet Day

Today was one of the days that Hayden has been waiting for since Kindergarten, Pet Day!  All kids look forward to pet day in 2nd grade.  Since, we don't have a pet anymore...we borrowed Buddy, Aunt Kim and Uncle Artie's dog.  Hayden was so excited for one that Buddy was coming for her to show off and 2nd that Aunt Kim was bringing him.  She is such a good Aunt to use her half day off to come to school and show off Buddy.  Then Uncle Artie surprised her too and he also came to pet day.  All of the 2nd graders really liked Buddy.  Colton made sure to tell every one that they couldn't touch Buddy's tennis ball.  It was a fun pet day, especially for Hayden.

Thanks again Uncle Artie and Aunt Kim!!!

Allstars 2014

Well the Tigers won the championship game last Thursday evening.  It was a close, nail biting game but they won 13-11!  Hayden had her best defense game ever.  She caught 3 line drives down 3rd base, caught a pop fly, threw two outs at first, and made the last out of the game at 3rd base.  was one proud Mommy watching from the dug out.  I think I probably feel more pressure than she does.  Any Mother feels every thing for their kids no matter what they are doing.  I get so nervous for her, but I never let her know that.  I always tell her...just do what you do best...make good throws and get in front of the ball.  When she goes up to hit and I always tell her... just watch the ball and you got this.

So proud of the whole team but especially my girl! She is ready for All stars and was so excited that she made it.

Mother's Day

My Mother's Day was great!  The girls spent the night with Mimi and Pop Saturday night to go to watch the Braves game....talk about some excited little girls!  However, even though they were excited little girls, Colton was an extremely unhappy little boy.  He really did not appreciate being left out, but he was okay when he realized he had Mommy and Daddy all to himself.  We went on a long Jeep ride, which always makes him so happy even though he usually sleeps through most of it.  It is so much fun riding in the Jeep when it is warm and sunny outside.  The girls and Mimi and Pop got to our house Sunday afternoon and they arrived with Prime Rib, Roses and gifts.  The roses were beautiful and the food was delicious.  Grandmama and Linda came to join us for some yummy food too.  I even filled up our kiddie pool and let the kids swim and have fun.  It was a perfect Mother's Day.  The best part was all the gifts the kids made themselves at school.  Aunt Linda even helped Colton make me something really special.  I loved all of my precious gifts and they were all so excited to give them to me!

UGA Softball Game

Today Mark and I took the kids to the last UGA softball game before the SEC playoffs.  Kim and Artie joined us for the fun.  UGA did win 3-1 today and one got a real home run.  Hayden really enjoyed watching it.  Gracie and Colton enjoyed it too.  Of course they had popcorn, cokes, sunflower seeds and a slushy.  I know you are all surprised.  Right!  Hayden had her glove ready to try and catch a few foul balls.  Gracie even had a glove ready, kind of surprised me but she wanted to wear one too.  Unfortunately none of the foul balls landed close to us but at least she was paying attention.  It was a fun day and we all love watching Softball!

We have had a great weekend!  Lots of Softball and lake fun.  The weekends go by way too fast.  Next weekend is Mother's Day.  I added that information for Mark, just in case he didn't know!!!!
