Hayden's First Georgia Game
Hayden got to go to the Georgia game with Kim, Mimi and Linda last Saturday. To say she was excited would be a major understatement! She had her new Georgia shirt and she wanted to wear my Georgia necklace and earrings to make her outfit perfect. Kim let her wear her bracelets too, she was Georgia ready! She really enjoyed the game, but she said the best part was that she got to sit in the rain the whole time. Silly girl! She also LOVED it when they cheered and she got to do it too! I love how excited she was about the game but I am pretty sure she was more excited that she got to go with Kim, Mimi and Linda. She also got to see some of her friends from school too. It was a big day for our big girl. She is truly growing up!

Wacky Tacky Day!
This week is Homecoming week at GWA. The lower school decided on Wacky Tacky Day today. Hayden was so excited picking every thing out yesterday...she got to do it last year too. She thought she knew exactly what she wanted until she saw what I planned for Gracie, then she liked Mommy's ideas better. I thought they looked pretty wacky tacky but when I dropped them off at school this morning the Spanish teacher told me that even when they are wacky tacky they are adorable. Oh well, what can I say I just have some gorgeous girls! They didn't match, they have on two different socks, two different shoes, silly capri leggings, dresses with ribbons and belts and to top it off their pigtails are uneven with different bows. I thought I did pretty well considering I am OCD about my kids looking their best in public!
Game Ball
Hayden earned another game ball on Tuesday night at her game. She had two awesome hits, she had a double and triple. Then she made a perfect throw from 3rd to 1st for an out. Then she made another out at 3rd. She had a great game and she was so proud of herself. I love it when she is excited about her accomplishments. In fact, I told her that I don't think she truly understands what an accomplishment it is that she can throw the ball from 3rd to 1st like she does. All the girls on the team played well. It was probably the best defensive game they have had yet. The Ducks won 12-1! We have another game Thursday night!

E R Snell Company Picnic
Pop and Mimi wanted to show off their babies at the company picnic this year. The girls and Colton had a great time. They had lots of bouncy things, pony rides, climbers, spider jumping and lots of cotton candy and snow cones. Every kids dream! Right? Hayden and Gracie rode the ponies but Colton cried and wouldn't even try it. Colton loved the bouncy things until two bigger boys trapped him and he couldn't get out. Never fear, Hayden saved him! They all loved the big slide. Gracie goes super fast when she slides. I guess it is because she is so tiny. She squealed all the way down. Colton had lots of fun too. This is one of the first times he has experienced so many different things. Hayden made it all the way to the top of the rock climber. This was a major accomplishment for her. She has been trying to get to the top for years. She usually gets half way and decides that she can't do it. She tried that today too, but she had Mimi and Mommy cheering her on and making her try again. With lots of encouraging and telling her she was almost there, she did it! She had a big ole smile on her face as she turned around to pose for the awesome picture once she reached the top. After lots of playing and trying all sorts of things they needed to cool down. So that meant snow cones, which is one of their favorite things. Oh, and they had to have cotton candy too! Colton and Gracie slept all the way home.
Thank you Mimi and Pop for inviting us to the picnic! They had lots of fun and haven't stopped talking about it since we left!

Two Homeruns
Hayden got two awesome hits at the game Tuesday night. In fact, they were so good that she got two homeruns. She was so excited, she might have even asked her Daddy to pay her for getting them. He told her that she played ball because she liked it not to be paid for it. I have to admit that it was a good try to earn a little money though. She is really liking softball and so are we. It is so much fun watching her. Even though when she goes up to hit, Mommy is probably more nervous than she ever thought about being. The smile on her face when she gets a good hit, makes a throw, or gets an out is what I love the most!
The Ducks won 16-2. They have won all 5 of their games! All of the Ducks are doing a great job!

Two blessings in one day
Five years ago today Mark and I were blessed twice in one day! The first blessing was Hayden was finally getting much better and ready to come home from the hospital. The second blessing was the birth of our 2nd little angel, Gracie Leigh. Gracie was the most patient baby ever. It was so hard being in two different places when I wanted to be with both of my babies, but we had lots of help from our wonderful family. We are so very, very blessed and so thankful for our precious angels!
Dear Gracie,
Today you are 5 years old, a whole hand. I just can't believe it. It seems like I just held you for the first time and then I blinked and it is 5 years later. You came into the world happy and smiling and that is exactly how you are now. You have the most beautiful smile in the world, we call it the million dollar smile. Words cannot even begin to describe how much we love you... You are beautiful, intelligent, caring, excited, determined, loving, prissy, independent, perfect and sometimes assertive little girl. We love each and every one of these things about you. You started big girl school this year and I can already see so many good changes in you, just in a couple of weeks. You are shy, but you are starting to come out of your shell. You definitely don't like to be the center of attention but that is okay. You are one amazing little angel. You reach high and aim for the stars baby. We are so blessed and lucky to get to be your Mommy and Daddy.
We love you to the moon and back angel! Actually we love you infinity!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
Best party ever
Gracie had her 5 th birthday party on Saturday. She said it was the best party ever. She had a Cinderella party with a water slide. Guess which part she loved the most. Her best friend Madison came and they had so much fun together. Kierstin, Mark Brantley, Maeleigh, Kiley and Will also came to celebrate. It was a really great party but it was also hot! We had yummy cake and ice cream. So glad everyone came and celebrated with us!
